Originally from Slovakia and Armenia, Ester and Vardan were both shaped by their years at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Now living on opposite coasts—Ester in NYC, Vardan in LA—they’re reuniting to share their distinct musical voices.
Vardan Ovsepian has earned international recognition for his innovative approach to piano, having collaborated with artists like Mick Goodrick, Peter Erskine, and Jerry Bergonzi. A recipient of the ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Award, he has released critically acclaimed albums and performed at prestigious venues worldwide.
Ester Wiesnerova, a Slovak-born vocalist, composer, and lyricist, is a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree and a voting member of The Recording Academy. Her debut album, Blue Journal, was considered for the Grammy Awards and has resonated with audiences globally. She has performed at major international festivals, including the Panama Jazz Festival and the Guatemala Jazz Festival, and has sung with artists such as Luciana Souza and Lionel Richie.
